Highlights today: Freedom Monument 70/71, the Kalmit as the highest point of the Weinsteig and the Hohe-Loog-Haus. The Hotel Castell in Leinsweiler was great😍 we are happy to recommend it.

Albsteig Südrandweg HW2: Jägerhaus Fridingen - Hausen i. T.
Die ersten beiden Etappen auf dem Südrandweg sind richtige Highlights. Abwechlungsreich, naturbelassene Wege, massenhaft Aussichten über das Donautal. Mit das Beste, was wir auf und an der Schwäbischen Alb bisher erwandern durften. Dazu liegt das Jägerhaus so was von idyllisch!

Albsteig Südrandweg HW2: Tuttlingen - Jägerhaus Fridingen
Erste Etappe des Südrandwegs. Tolle Wegführung, viele Single Trails, schöne Ausblicke und am Ende eine Übernachtung mitten im Nirgendwo. Und das bei bestem Wanderwetter. Fünf Sterne Deluxe.

Wasserläufer-Route 3/3: Scheidegg - Weiler i. A.
Vorerst letzte Etappe unserer jährlichen Allgäu-Tour mit einem schönen Panoramablick auf die Allgäuer Alpen, dem Kneipp-Becken in Scheffau (bei diesen Temperaturen ein absolutes Highlight) und dem Trachtenfest am Ziel in Weiler. Schön war's, heiß war's!

Wasserläufer-Route 2/3: Eglofs - Scheidegg
Teilweise schöne Ausblicke auf die Allgäuer Alpen (Hochgrat, Rindalphorn, Hoher Ifen, Biberkopf) und gute Einkehrmöglichkeiten in Meckatz und Lindenberg🍨, aber für mich zu viel Asphalt auf der Strecke. Eglofs mit seinem schönen Dorfplatz und Scheidegg mit guten Einkehrmöglichkeiten haben aber entschädigt :-)

Wasserläufer-Route 1/3: Ringenberg - Eglofs
Entspannte Nummer mit viel Sonne. Geplanter Start sollte am Eistobel in Maierhöfen sein, dort darf man aber nicht mehrtägig parken. Wow, last stage on the Weinsteig. Completely different topo than before, you hike in the ☀️ in the vineyards. In addition, (accompanied) by shelling from starling scarers to frighten away the 🐦. Oh well... our stay in Gents in Weisenheim and here in Bockenheim are highly recommended. We met great people
