The beach here is part of the nature reserve - swimming is no longer allowed. Access to the old bathing area is blocked by a brushwood fence. However, the signposted circular hiking trail is recommended - it offers very beautiful views of around 4 km.
The Devin lido has now been expanded for swimming - right in the town next to a park with a playground, pier and restaurant. But even there the bay is very flat...
