The works along the Celtic Sculpture Trail were made in 2013 and 2014. They pick up on different themes from the world of the Celts. Deities, artifacts or as here an innovation in the transport of pig iron. Small information boards give information about the background and the origin of the sculptures.
A beautiful path that emphasizes the theme of the Celts on Donnersberg and artistically processed.

Unfortunately, there are several highlights .....A large-scale cultural object was completed in late summer 2014: a sculpture path that connects the recreated Celtic village in Steinbach with the once real oppidum on the Donnersberg.

The Celts were the first to deal with iron processing, in order to transport the pig iron it was poured into the form of double pointed ingots. This special shape should prevent the cargo from sliding, e.g. on boats. The sculpture of the star is supposed to represent these double pointed bars.
