The monastery café offers the opportunity to buy cakes, soups of the day, ice cream and drinks after a long climb. Unfortunately the café is on the mountain side of the monastery and the view is not great. Still worth a visit.

The café employee was my savior: I hadn't eaten anything since breakfast. After finishing my work during the conference at the monastery, I was hungry, but the café had just closed. She saw me, asked me... and after I told her what I was doing, she promptly opened it again. I got a farmer's toast and a shandy... and she got a good tip from me. Quality hospitality - I can only say thank you and praise!
