    Located next to the castle in Bad Belzig, stands the late Gothic Bricciuskirche. Despite severe damage in the Thirty Years' War, the church is still largely preserved in its original form. 1530, the church was visited by Martin Luther, as this was a guest at the castle.

    The church is dedicated to St. Briccius. Legend has it that he was not that holy. He probably made a child of a nun. Well, just a man. God surely forgave him his little sin!
