Tips
The church in Ragösen differs fundamentally from the stone churches in the other villages. The original medieval church burned down in 1797 and was replaced by the new building. The church got its present form around 1910.

The first church in the village was probably built at the beginning of the 16th century and was first mentioned in 1571. Extensive restorations take place in the 17th century. In 1797 the old church burned down. The reconstruction lasts until 1799. The nave is extended.
