Gletscherexpress Valley Station

The Glacier Express takes guests to an altitude of 2,840 meters above sea level. This is also where the valley station of the Wildspitzbahn is located, which takes you to the highest point in Austria that can be reached by cable car, at 3,440 meters above sea level. Once you reach the top, you have a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains and the highest mountain in North Tyrol, the Wildspitze. Just a few meters from the mountain station is the highest café in the country - Café 3.440. From the sun terrace you can enjoy a unique panoramic view. The mountain station of the Wildspitzbahn is also an ideal starting point for high alpine hiking and summit tours.
