Just like the nearby Brandenburger Haus, the Vernagt-Hütte is a perfect starting point for extensive glacier tours or for summit ascents on the three-thousand-meter peaks of the Ötztal Alps.
With 50 beds in shared rooms and 40 places in the mattress dormitory, the Vernagt hut is one of the larger mountain huts in the Ötztal. The hut is open from early March to mid-May and from early July to mid-September. More information and reservations at vernagthuette.detranslated by
