If you want to see (almost) all of the German Rolande at once, you have to visit the Rolandpark in Belgern. Fourteen smaller brothers of the Roland figures stand on the new »rest area on the» Elbe Cycle Path. Since summer 2005, the area has been inviting cyclists, skaters and guests to rest, play and relax.
The artists Christine Gersch and »Torsten Freche created the» Rolande from Calbe / Saale, Wedel, Bremen, Halberstadt, Nordhausen, Perleberg, Halle, Stendal, Quedlinburg, Brandenburg, Neustad, Burg, Bad Bramstedt and Haldensleben.
