Going uphill you have to take the inconspicuous and unpaved forest path on the left. The way to the geotope is poorly signposted, mostly only with small signposts, some of which seem broken. The forest path goes steeply up into a small mountain recess. The geotope itself is a very small quarry. Here, too, there is an information board about phonolite.

We had made the detour to the "Phonolith" - but I can't recommend it. It's about 500 m uphill, the path isn't that nice (lots of nettles) and I couldn't see what this highlight is supposed to be about? Are the remains of an old, tiny quarry. At the top of the phonolith there is the same information sign as at the beginning of the path. Probably most interesting for geologists - just nonsense for the normal hiker!
