Mighty water tower made of bricks, approx. 51 m high. The external appearance of the tower is characterized by light yellow painted plastered surfaces, structures made of dark red bricks and the greenish patinated roof covering made of copper sheet. The tower has two internal steel storage tanks with a capacity of 2,300 m3 and 800 m3.
The monumental water tower was built in 1908/09 according to plans by the city planning officer Otto Greiß in the northern urban expansion area in an exposed location.
