These single-family houses were built for the highest-ranking SS officers during the operation of the concentration camp from 1939 to 1945. Since 2010 there has been an exhibition on everyday life and the crimes of the leadership officials in the concentration camp.

The SS called the four villas for SS officers and their families in the immediate vicinity of the prisoner camp "Führerhäuser". An exhibition about the SS leaders has been on display in the former residence of the camp commandant since 2010.
