Redesigned in 2009, the square at the ferry dock is a pleasant place to linger thanks to its bright, open layout: numerous bicycle racks are installed for day-trippers. The light-colored paving provides plenty of space for pedestrians and cyclists, and long wooden benches invite you to linger. Trees in square, planted flowerbeds and, above all, the beautiful view of the Elbe complete the picture. It presents itself as a quiet and spacious space for pedestrians and cyclists, free from traffic disruption.

In the Dübelsbrücker Kajüt there are very tasty fish sandwiches. There are benches for resting with a beautiful view of the Elbe. The Elbe ferries also dock here.

Road cycling

Teufelsbrück is located in the historical district of Klein-Flottbek on the southern edge of the Jenisch Park. The cute little harbor is not protected from the tide :-) Teufelsbrück owes its name to an old legend: Time and again, wagons had accidents at the ford due to broken wheels. It was assumed that "the devil was going on" there. A carpenter was then commissioned to build a bridge over the creek. He enlisted the help of the devil to build the bridge and promised him the soul of the first creature to cross the bridge.
