It is important that you deviate from the path east of the Geissenschlupf rock and climb steeply up the mountain over rock steps to get to the seating area with the panoramic view.
The view in the direction of Merzalben is great, but you won't find the Gräfenstein castle ruin, because it is hidden to the left of the long Winschertberg.
The detour is definitely worth it, even if the bank is free to linger. 😉
