Rocca di Asolo is a fortress above Asolo. When the fortress is open (entrance fee: 2.- €) you can go inside and climb all the way to the top via a staircase and look down on Asolo from the battlements. From here you also have a panoramic view, so you can also see towards Monte Grappa, you can see the Tempio Canoviano in Possagno or as far as the Prosecco area of Valdobbiadene. The symbol of the city stands on the top of Monte Ricco (310 meters) as a solid military fortress. Built between the end of the 12th and the beginning of the 13th century, it served as the city's garrison.
