    Asolo
Asolo's old town is characterized by the fortress (Rocca) from the 12th century. In addition to it, the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, the Villa Scotti-Pasini and the Castello della Regina Cornaro are among the city's main attractions. The remains of an amphitheater and an aqueduct date from Roman times.

In the town that houses the tomb of Eleonora Duse, it is fitting to have a square, the most beautiful in Asolo, named after Gabriele D'Annunzio, who had a special relationship with the famous actress. For example, it is said that it was she who inspired the poetic collection "Alcyone".

The Asolo hills are the starting point for walks and excursions around the city that they gently surround.
From the historic center there are several paths to be done on foot or by bicycle.
In spring the cherry and peach blossom colors the landscape. Walking through the valleys and the "foresti", the roads that lead from the plain to the center, is always a pleasant experience. Nearby are great masterpieces of Italian art: 5 km Villa Barbaro di Maser, designed by Andrea Palladio (1550) with frescoes by Paolo Veronese, 10 km Possagno, with the birthplace and the Gipsoteca of the neoclassical sculptor Antonio Canova (1757-1822), buried there; at 5 km. the Brion tomb, the work of Carlo Scarpa, a notable example of funerary architecture; 14 km from Villa Emo, another masterpiece of Palladian architecture.
