Dante would say "..in the middle of the walk ..." and in fact in the middle of the brow we meet this octagonal construction, a bit unexpected.
Reference point for the start of one of the most enjoyable downhill trails in the area.

The foundation of the primitive chapel dates back to the eighth century. It is probably a Lombard work, as in the surrounding area there is news of a necropolis with numerous Lombard tombs. The oratory was formerly dedicated to the Holy Apostles. Inside there are interesting frescoes. Leaning against the primitive oratory there is an eighteenth-century church with a hexagonal plan, conceived as an extension of the original nucleus, now used as a sacristy; there is also a small isolated bell tower, from 1862, which reflects the shape, in reduced dimensions, of the bell tower of the Archpriest Church. The apse basin is covered with a double layer of frescoes: one, representing Christ and the Twelve Apostles, from the 16th-17th century, and another, not recognizable but more interesting, of the fifteenth century.
