The stone marks the spot where formerly the dominion of Fürstenberg, the communal forest Schluchsee and the state forest of the Grand Duchy of Baden clashed. Even though the borders have lost their sovereign importance, they still function as property and hunting boundaries.

Unfortunately, there is not really much to see here for those not interested in history.
