It's quick to get to the Tannenwaldhütte, as there is a hikers' car park at the motorway exit. The hut is very nicely built. The Dreispitzhütte is also nearby and there is also a smaller sequoia.

All in all a nice piece of forest. Only the highway is a bit disturbing, but you can quickly forget it when you see the forest.
