Coming from the valley station of the gondola lift, which was out of service at the moment, the hiking trail runs along the road, crosses under the Hüttenbach Viaduct of the steam train route, and comes to the Bimmelbahn adventure trail (the adventure trail runs entirely along the entire route of the Fichtelbergbahn: Cranzahl-Oberwiesenthal, along), which you then follow to the right, slightly uphill to the Oberwiesenthal train station.

Hiking

Nice hiking trail, approx. 20 km long. Lots of nature and views of the Ore Mountains. The adventure trail does not always run along the railway line. But there are many crossing points. If you don't want to hike all the way, you can use the "Bimmelbahn" at the stops and stations of the narrow-gauge railway for the onward journey or the way back.
