Parkband West Bochum Railway Tunnels

The new cycle path "Parkband West Bochum" leads through a forest and fallow area, which is characterized by hard coal mining. Here, the path crosses the railway line, which is used by the S1 today. A few meters further north, the main route Essen-Bochum is then undercut. Something for Revier fans!

Today, for the first time, I drove Parkland West from Weitmarer Schloss to the Jahrhunderthalle.
It works, but is not signposted. Since the city Bochum should improve. Otherwise very nice, you follow bike paths, the developed railway line, side streets, along a beautiful allotment garden and finally through the above tunnel.
Great track, but complicated. Only goes with Navi.
