This was my very first Brevet. Although it was the second time that a tour was longer than 200km, this one got quite hard towards then. Everybody tells you, keep it easy in the beginning. But what are you doing? You feel great - and just push with all the others.

Most of this tour was beautiful, not because it finally is spring but also wonderful forest tracks. But I cannot recommend this tour exactly as it is. There are no paths in Edhammarskog. There were two hike-a-bike or rather find your way in the densest forest. Imagine how exhausted I was and then I heard

Getting up at sunrise, hit the empty roads and enjoy the chilly summer morning temperature. It was probably the first time that I actively saw foxes. What a great thing to be back home when other people are just about to get their day started.
