A spectacular peak across the corrie from Braeriach with several al ascent options. The Lochain Uaine below looks fantastic from hear, and in the spring months can still have ice covering it.

Sgòr an Lochain Uaine is the 5th highest mountain in the UK at 1258m. It stands north of the fourth highest Carn Toul on the same ridgeline west of the Lairig Ghru pass. It's one of the Cairngorm 4000's so is visited by runners completing this classic challenge or on a long and remote ridgeline run from the north or south.
