Nestled amidst a breathtakingly-beautiful landscape, the bridge is a much-loved spot and is a great place to watch salmon leaping upstream. Built in 1813, the bridge was part of the main road between Drumnadrochit and Fort Augustus until a new bridge was built to replace it in the 1930s.
