At the top of Griesner Kar there is a magnificent view of the imperial peaks all around. Nice and quiet. If you want, you can stay overnight at the self-catering hut. To do this, you need an Alpine Club key from the section.

Hiking

The Fritz Pflaum Hut is a rustic self-catering hut at an elevation of 1,865 meters in the Griesener Kar of the Wilder Kaiser. The ascent is mostly from the Fischbachalm via the Kleine Griesener Tor and takes about three hours. The tour is challenging, requires surefootedness and a head for heights, but is rewarded with spectacular views. The hut itself belongs to the DAV Bavarian section and is only accessible with an AV key.
