The church was first mentioned in 1210. In the late Middle Ages it was converted into a three-aisled complex. In 1644 a new choir was built. The ship was rebuilt in 1787. The church was radically renovated in 1947 and 1969. The campanile was built in 1861. In the Antonius Chapel on the right is the late Gothic winged altar from S. Nicolao. The choir and the Madonna del Carmine chapel feature elegant 18th-century gilded stuccowork. In the niche above the altar is a painted, gilded and silver-plated Madonna statue from the 17th/18th century. century to admire.
A wooden winged altar, the work of a Northern artist from 1517, is kept in a side chapel.
