11th century church "San Carlo", which can only be reached on foot via a steep access.

The small church of Negrentino, originally dedicated to St. Ambrose (now San Carlo), is one of the most important in Ticino. Its enchanting location, Romanesque architecture and rich decorative paintings make it unique. In the midst of meadows, it lies at 850 m above sea level, detached on a hillside, which gives the view of a wide panorama. The charm of this testimony of Ticino and Lombard Romanesque has remained intact over the years. A visit to Negrentino is also an opportunity to approach the Blenio Valley, also known as the "Sun Valley".
