In the middle of the city center between the town hall, town hall lake and school center, there is a large lawn for sunbathing. It's not really flat - there are a few hills in between. The area, which is about two soccer fields in size, attracts many visitors who want to relax there, especially on hot days. The place is also well suited for picnics because it is surrounded by some shady trees. In some places the water can be clearly observed from the city park, which is also crossed by families of ducks from time to time. The Kaarster shopping center is not far away, which is also an advantage for spontaneous picnickers. So there is a supply of snacks and drinks.
