Cheating helps – and that's no different in this case. This chapel almost didn't survive the turbulent years of the French Revolution and was destroyed. But a farmer bought it and simply passed it off as a barn – thus, it was spared and still tells us today of the deep faith of the local population.

A spring rises in the chapel, the water of which is said to have healing properties. Believers also take it home to sprinkle stables and barns when a thunderstorm approaches.
