The Brand-Erbisdorf shoemaker (for orthopedic shoes) Torsten Kocarek created a miner set in motion by a water wheel. His ensemble is visited by many hikers and cyclists in the Erzengler Forest between Muth-Eck and Münzbachquelle. About 15 years ago there were three small stamping mills in the same place, powered by water power. But unfortunately they fell victim to the “destructiveness” several times. A short visit is always worthwhile.

A very beautiful water system that has certainly been around for a few years.

Today there was no water because of the dry weather. That made it a rather sad sight. Otherwise it is worth a detour.
