The Moorweiher is only up to 2 meters deep. He serves in winter for curling. Nice quiet seating available.

The Oberstdorfer Moorweiher can be easily reached either from the St. Loretto chapels or from the Mühlenbrücke near the valley station of the Nebelhornbahn via Krappberg.
There is an educational trail around the moor pond with information boards on plants, animals and geology. On hot summer days, the moor trail can be optimally combined with a visit to the moor bath with real moor water.

Be sure to visit the moor pond with its abundant vegetation. It lies above Oberstdorf. Reachable in 15 minutes from the Nebelhornbahn station (past the mud bath)
