    Here on the Schattenberg ski jump, the opening jump of the four hill tour has been taking place every year since 1953. You can visit the ski jumping facility including a driveway up to the ski jumping tower. From there you have a great view of Oberstdorf.

        The Oberstdorf Allgäu World Cup Ski Jumping Arena, with its five ski jumps at the foot of the Schattenberg, is the landmark of Oberstdorf.
