Sins Castle, Paspels
Built around 1695 for Johann Viktor Travers von Ortenstein, completely rebuilt around 1730; Redesign of the exterior from 1892–93 by Nicolaus Hartmann senior; Rest. Outside 2002. On the garden side outside staircase with railing around 1710. Remodeling in 1892/93: remarkable sgraffito decoration, carved roof in Swiss wood style, polygonal tower with hood and lantern, arbor. Staircase and paneling room with rainbow paintings around 1730. On the upper floor, stucco over-portals around 1760. Portraits of the v. Family. Salis-Soglio, et al. of Anton v. Salis, painted by Angelika Kauffmann in 1757. Generous garden with a baroque part, water lily pond and final pavilion on the edge of the site.
