Lüneburg has a brine source with 26% salt content and is used accordingly in the graduation tower and Salü.
The spa park is laid out in the style of English landscape gardens, with the special feature of a graduation house. The brine is conducted from top to bottom via a network of twigs. This creates a microclimate similar to the sea beach.

The spa park is bounded by the Hotel Seminaris and the Salü in the north, by the Red Field in the east and by Soltauer Straße in the west.
The healing power of the brine spring in Lüneburg has been known since the Middle Ages. But it was not until 1907 that the actual spa park was opened. Only the foyer and the graduation tower have survived from this period. It no longer exudes the charm of the early 20th century, but the park itself is a nice place to stay.

A beautiful spa park in Lüneburg. The old graduation tower is unfortunately no longer there, but a new one is already under construction. This is a wonderful place to relax. There are many sights to discover.

The Lüneburg Kurpark is a park designed according to an English landscape pattern and is located in the southern part of the city centre. It was created in 1907 between Uelzener Straße and Soltauer Straße and is around 23 hectares in size.
In warm weather, young and old, families and students can relax here.
The spa park borders directly on the "SaLü", the salt thermal baths in Lüneburg, in which the brine is still bubbling up today.
