So strange to see that people fall over each other on top of Blencathra and that this top seems to have so few visitors. It comes with great views though and really is just a few steps away from Blencathra's main summit and Sharp Edge – so why not include it next time you are up there?

Sharp Edge on the route up to Atkinson Pike and Blencathra around to the north of the tarn is a tricky and scary section needing good scrambling / bouldering skills. Probably not a good idea to attempt it in the wet, on icy days or if windy.
