Bowscale Fell is a mountain in the north east of the Lake District National Park. Bowscale Fell is 2,303 feet (702 m) in height and is part of the Blencathra group of fells. Be sure to visit Bowscale Tarn on your ascent.

Hiking

Indeed not as busy as some of the surrounding peaks and comes with great views of Blencathra and Sharp Edge. The walk over the ridge towards Mungrisdale comes with great views over the surrounding areas and the typical Lake District fields and farms. The way down to Mungrisdale is quite steep and somewhat slippery in places - only attempt if you are sure-footed!
