Lobenfeld Monastery Church

The Lobenfeld Monastery was founded in the middle of the 12th century as an Augustinian monastery. After the Palatinate Reformation in 1560/61 it was dissolved and placed under the electoral administration.

Beautiful historic monastery, worth a visit... afterwards you can also stop off at the Greek restaurant one street away

Only the monastery church can be visited at certain times (separate highlight).The monastery grounds cannot be entered. But you can arrange a viewing. Information about this can be found on the notice board on the church square (see also the photo).
But what you can see from the public path is worth it!
At the church at the entrance to the parking lot you will find a well-made information board with the most important information and maps (historical and today).
