Tips
  • The mirror games in the colorful clear waters of the lake are fascinating.

  • At the time of my visit (3.6.2018) unfortunately a small section of the circular route was closed. The sign at the beginning of the trail was unfortunately so small and inconspicuous that I did not see it. Thus, I have unsuspecting the way to the gate with the "locked - sign" gone and then I turned back to take the path on the other side of the lake to the Vilsalpe. From the other side I have seen that several people have walked there despite the "locked sign". On my way back around the lake, there were more people, so I also made my way along the closed path. At one point, he became so narrow and muddy, as a snowfield and some boulders on the way sticking out, that with stroller, wheelchair or walker the section can not pass. Even with a bike it was very tight. As a pedestrian with a little surefootedness it is already possible, but everyone has to decide for themselves ...!

  • A very great way to the lake. Unfortunately, you can not completely walk around the lake due to landslides on the other side.

  • Great alp that is easily accessible on foot. Here there are regional delicacies at a reasonable price. The gentian schnapps is highly recommended :)
