Road cycling

Chirk Castle is a magnificent medieval castle managed by the National Trust. It is also a private home and still lived in today.
Construction started in 1295 although there have been many alterations and additions to reach what you see today.
There are extensive gardens and parkland to explore as well as the castle.
Café and NT shop on site.
Castle open to visitors from 12:00 - 16:00 everyday with the café, gardens and parkland opening earlier and closing later,
Entrance fee if you aren't a NT member.
