Nantgwynant to Penrhyndeudraeth Road Ride
A highly scenic but slightly dangerous mixed trail and road route from the edge of Snowdon down to the sleepy village of Penrhyndeudraeth. Stopped at Bedgelert for lunch. Highly recommended.

A fairly scenic route to the border town, with the exception of a stretch on the A5.

Caffi Gwynant, Snowdon to Bangor Railway Station
A solid 2-hour bike ride across Eyri’s most beautiful country roads. Relatively flat for a mountainous region too. You’ll pass through some lovely villages such as Beddgelert, before getting the train home from Bangor.

Penrhynduedraeth to Snowdon
A very scenic but hilly 10-mile, 1hr route from the train station at Penrhynduedraeth to the Caffi Gwynant, not far from the foot of the South Side of Mount Snowdon. You need to carry your bike about 300 metres up steps as you come out of Pen.

Harborne & Birmingham Canal loop from Halesowen
Lovely route featuring lots of quiet, scenic canal towpaths. After the initial road section you are rewarded by frequent opportunities to be surrounded by nature, with the odd coffee stop thrown in for good measure.

Clent Hills to Wyre Forest - Boxing Day Bike Trek
Leg 1 of my Boxing Day bike ride from Halesowen to Wyre Forest, Kidderminster. Lots of old pubs en route. Bewdley would have been worth a proper look - very pretty little place, but only passed through.
