The orangery on the south side of the park is one of the largest of its kind in Europe, which is still used today in its original function (176m x 12m).

It was built between 1812 and 1818 by the architect Carlo Ignazio Pozzi as a three-part classicist building. The middle part contains apartments that were originally intended for the garden staff
