According to legend, a hunter was shot here and the accompanying baron was shot by a poacher. This poacher committed suicide shortly afterwards because his sister had a love affair with the baron he had killed.

A small plaque on a stump commemorates the incident, otherwise the place is beautifully located in the Kostertal valley, but rather unspectacular.
