Hiking

According to legend, a hunter was shot here and the accompanying baron was shot by a poacher. This poacher committed suicide shortly afterwards because his sister had a love affair with the baron he had killed.

A small plaque on a stump commemorates the incident, otherwise the place is beautifully located in the Kostertal valley, but rather unspectacular.

Hiking

A mysterious place around which many stories are told. The best-known legend says that a poacher shot dead a hunter and his companion, a baron, here. The young poacher was inconsolable about his deed, because his sister and the baron were lovers. The poacher later hanged himself from a tree.
