Sissi Monument

The Sisi Memorial (alternatively known as the Empress Elisabeth Memorial) in honor of the Austrian Empress Elisabeth of Austria-Hungary, known as "Sisi", is located on the Altenberg in Garitz, a district of the Bavarian spa town of Bad Kissingen in the Lower Franconian district of Bad Kissingen.
Empress Elisabeth of Austria-Hungary spent several spa stays in Bad Kissingen (most recently a few months before her death), during which she also enjoyed taking walks on the Altenberg.
