In the megalithic graves around Ahlhorn, the so-called "Visbeker Bride" belongs to the "Heidenopfertisch" (komoot.de/highlight/142798) undoubtedly one of the most imposing cultic sites of the Early Stone Age. Over a distance of 80 meters, no less than 105 huge curb stones in a very elongated shape encompass a 5.5 by 1.5 meter grave chamber without access, which can now be seen open because of the missing capstone.
The journey to the cult site is easy to manage by bike and can be done in two directions.
