The castle ruin Wirsberg, also called Wirtesburg, is the ruin of a hilltop castle on the castle rock northwest of the confluence of the Koser and Schorgast rivers in the Wirsberg market in the Upper Franconian district of Kulmbach in Bavaria.
The castle was built by the House of Andechs-Meranien around 1200, mentioned in 1231, in 1554 and destroyed in the Thirty Years War. The Lords of Wirsberg are named as the former owners of the castle. Only remnants of the wall remain from the former castle.
