The Gemmingen town hall is a brick building on the main road, which was built in 1902/03 in the style of eclecticism. It replaced the old town hall, which had become too small. The syringe house and the post office were also housed in the building - the existing lettering is evidence of this.
In the years 1991-1995 the building was completely renovated. It also received a new building extension, which is located behind the building.
The Gemmingen Upper Castle, which was sold after 1630, used to stand on the site of today's town hall.
