Dachtel–Gechingen Scenic Road

Beautiful route over the Dachteler Berg. On a very good surface, first up the hill, then down the hill - what more could you want? There is usually little traffic there - the only thing that rushes through here in a stressed manner is the bus. But be careful on the descent: In Dachtel, the speed limit is strictly speaking 30 km/h and it can get a bit tight on Calwer Strasse because of the parked cars with oncoming traffic. There are also a few speed bumps in the lower part. For this reason, I prefer to go from Dachtel to Gechingen, where you can take it easy on the descent. If from Gechingen to Dachtel, then I prefer to follow the bus route to Böblingen and turn left from Calwer Strasse at the town entrance after the Bergsiedlung bus stop to drive along Bergstrasse to the church.
