Grandios to power up during a night round!

Beautiful, asphalted agricultural path between Gechingen and Ostelsheim. Here you can also ride a road bike well off the road.

A superb, traffic-free path (open to agriculture). It's best to cycle from Ostelsheim towards Gechingen, so you have the steep climb at the beginning and then look forward to a long descent behind the farm. On the other hand, I find the descent to Ostelsheim into the residential area a bit risky: The path is relatively narrow, you're always expected to encounter pedestrians, and at the bottom you have to brake hard because of the right-before-left rule.I prefer to cycle a bit further through the industrial area (Sohlengrund) and continue on the road towards Ostelsheim. Then, thanks to the 15% gradient, you can really let it go for a while.
