The two-storey, octagonal gate tower with an outside staircase forms the north-western exit of the old town.
On the outer wall traces of a portcullis device can be seen and next to it the number 1565 dates the time of a renovation phase.
Due to traffic conditions, the second, larger passage was created in 1913.
