The privately owned, small chapel dedicated to the Virgin Mary is located in an exposed and anciently populated place. Before the community connecting road from Iffelsdorf to Untersteinbach was built with its current course, the path led to the chapel and divided there in different directions. Instead of a previous building, the chapel was built in 1826. The simple furnishings belong to different modern times.
